REL2015   Christian Liturgy   (20 credits)

Description

This module introduces students to liturgical studies in a manner that combines and reflects on historical, theological, pastoral and practical approaches, in response to the overall question of what it means to be a worshipping person in a worshipping church. Topics include the Eucharist, Initiation rites and the Daily Office. There is a particular focus on Anglican practice and liturgical roles, both ordained and lay.
